Glazing Department
Salisbury Cathedral Stained Glass Department is one area of traditional skills where the design, manufacture, repair and conservation of stained glass and leaded lights, is offered as a service to organisations and individuals outside of the Cathedral. The Stained Glass Department already has a large client list including many churches, cathedrals, country houses, national monuments, and is one of very few organisations accredited to the United Kingdom Institute of Conservation. The Glazing Department operates an apprentice scheme and the current apprentice is 3 years into the 4 year apprenticeship.
