How can my donation help?

The Major Repair Programme

The most urgent fundraising priority is the repair and restoration of the medieval architecture and glazing of our beautiful gothic cathedral. The architecture of the cathedral is a rare example of workmanship from the 13th century but we need your help to ensure it is preserved for future generations. (Click here for more information.)

Music and Bursaries for Choristers

Music remains a fundamental part of our daily life; the tradition of sung services and concerts draws in both national and international visitors, eager to hear our renowned choirs and organists. Our aim is that no talented child should be denied the opportunity to train with our choir due to financial circumstances. You can help us to keep Cathedral music alive by making a donation. (Click here for more information.). Support the Choral Foundation and win up to £25,000.

Education

Our Education Department runs specially designed classes and workshops for over 8,000 children and adults every year. We keep our charges very low to enable children from all backgrounds to experience learning in Salisbury Cathedral, but this does mean we need help to keep the projects going. (Click here for more information.)

Social Justice

“Today social justice represents one of the most serious challenges to the conscience of the world. The abyss between those who are within the world order and those who are excluded is widening day by day”. (Leonardo Boff).

The Cathedral is determined to fulfil its duty by championing the cause of disadvantaged people in society who struggle to be heard. We will do this by working in partnership with other charities and by challenging preconceptions and injustice. You can help us by making a donation. (Click here for more information.)
